Of course, Price2Spy will capture this change, and it will show the product as unavailable.<\/p>\n<p>However, looking at Price2Spy product pricing charts &#8211; this change could\u00a0be represented by<\/p>\n<p>A) zero-price (a drop in the chart), or<\/p>\n<p>B) its real price, still shown on website.<\/p>\n<p>Ever since the first days of Price2Spy &#8211; we&#8217;ve opted for A), and most of our clients have accepted it and got used to this.<\/p>\n<p>However, over the time, the number of clients who wanted B) was growing &#8211; in most cases these were manufacturers who use Price2Spy to monitor their retailers&#8217; prices. Since we do our best to listen to all our clients&#8217; needs, we&#8217;ve come up with a solution:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.price2spy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/zero_prics_account1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3032\" src=\"https:\/\/www.price2spy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/zero_prics_account1.png\" alt=\"zero_prics_account\" width=\"850\" height=\"447\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>As you can see, in your <strong>Account Settings<\/strong> you can now specify whether you want to <strong>Show actual prices instead of 0 price for unavailable products<\/strong> or not.<\/p>\n<p>This setting applies to the following charts \/ reports<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Product History Chart (shown on Product page)<\/li>\n<li>Competitor Pricing History (Excel report)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Let&#8217;s see the difference it makes on Product History Chart<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.price2spy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/zero_price_history_11.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3031\" src=\"https:\/\/www.price2spy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/zero_price_history_11.png\" alt=\"zero_price_history_1\" width=\"850\" height=\"309\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>As you can see &#8211; the yellow line (representing sonovente&#8217;s price) has 2 drops &#8211; these are the days when they ran out of stock for this product.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.price2spy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/zero_price_history_21.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3030\" src=\"https:\/\/www.price2spy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/zero_price_history_21.png\" alt=\"zero_price_history_2\" width=\"850\" height=\"262\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, with this setting changed, sonovente&#8217;s price remains constant, with no drops.<\/p>\n<p>Which option do you prefer?<br \/>\nWe would love to hear back from you \u2013 your feedback would be very much appreciated.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Suppose a product you are monitoring on a competitor site goes out of stock.
