Price2Spy API – REST interface introduced

New Price2Spy features 7.3.2018. Reading Time: < 1

Price2Spy API was launched back in 2013, offering only SOAP as API interface, which was very common back in those days.

However, as technology progresses, we have received many questions from our clients – why don’t we offer REST API interface as well?

REST is considered to be much more simple, and efficient interface, easier to develop, while the payload (size of messages exchanged) is much lower than with SOAP.

We’ve given it some thinking, and…

…from now on, you can access Price2Spy API via REST interface – in addition to SOAP interface.

Which method should you use – SOAP or REST?

  • This entirely up to you – since the results you will receive will be identical. So, please go for technology which suits you better 🙂
